If subject to a direct impact vinyl fence can break. However, if installed properly and under normal use, the fence will not break. If damage does occur to planks, picket or rails, they can easily be replaced.
Normally there is a minimal amount of maintenance required. We suggest washing the vinyl product annually to maintain a "like new" look.
Vinyl is not graffiti proof. However, it is easy to clean and most paint will come off with ease. In some cases, a pressure washer may be needed. In the most difficult situations, you may need to use lacquer thinner, 600-grit sandpaper or 0000-gadge steel wool.
Installation of the post and horizontal rails to our specifications is necessary. If this is adhered to, the fence are designed to to tolerate normal wind loads.
Vinyl is similar to most PVC products, and will become less flexible in colder climate. Normally, this does not effect the vinyl, unless it is subject to an unusual impact. Our product has been made to sustain normal temperature swings.
When subject to long period of damp weather, vinyl product will collect mold or mildew. However, they are easily cleaned. Simply clean with a solution consisting of mild household detergent and water.
You should not find chipping, peeling, or cracking on your vinyl product.
